Why Summarizing Matters
If you cannot summarize discovery clearly:
- The customer didn’t understand value
- You are not ready to demo or propose
How to Summarize Professionally
Example:
“Based on what you shared, the main challenge is maintaining asset accuracy between audits, which creates risk and extra work. If that’s correct, we can show how TFAM addresses this.”
This:
- Confirms understanding
- Gains agreement
- Sets up the next step
Decide the Next Move
After discovery, you choose:
- Demo
- Internal alignment
- Education
- Pause
- Disengage
Not every meeting deserves a demo.
