How to Re-Engage Professionally
Use a reset message:
“It seems priorities may have shifted. Should we pause this discussion until it becomes relevant again?”
This:
- Respects their time
- Signals confidence
- Forces clarity
When to Exit
Exit when:
- No urgency exists
- No ownership is clear
- No decision authority is involved
Exiting cleanly preserves future opportunities.
